About Links & Threads
Links & Threads is an online magazine that highlights the power of arts learning in its many forms. Its primary purpose is to assist school leaders in making arts learning a more integral part of the core curriculum and achieving the greatest advantage possible from the arts for students.
Intended audience
- District and school leaders who value arts learning as an integral part of the core curriculum
- Arts educators
- Artists, higher education faculty in the arts, and arts organizations that share their gifts and knowledge with Ohio students
- Families, businesses and communities that are intrigued by the possibilities of arts learning
Content
Links & Threads builds upon knowledge gained through the 2004 NEA Summer Institute for School Leaders, which was held at the Fitton Center in Hamilton, Ohio. (Read more about the Institute.)

Links & Threads includes feature articles about arts learning concepts, programs and initiatives. Articles highlight:
